More about my journey...
The journey toward this version of my life began decades ago, back in childhood, when I first stepped into public speaking, teaching, and performing. Even then, I dreamed of changing the world. Music became a powerful way to connect with larger audiences, allowing me to share inspiration through both song and message. Volunteering has always been close to my heart—I deeply believe in investing in our communities and building up those around us. Over the years, I’ve worked with charities, churches, and people of all ages and backgrounds, each experience teaching me invaluable lessons.

Teaching incorporated many aspects of who I was. I was driven to help my students break through self-doubt. Hearing the negative self-talk they carried sparked a fierce determination in me. I saw the power those beliefs held over them and knew I needed to find a way to help them see themselves as capable, brilliant young people. I watched as they grew from hesitant and uncertain to confident, open-minded risk-takers, ready to try new things, embrace mistakes, and discover the joy in learning. In guiding others, I found myself transforming too—I began to take bigger leaps, dream more boldly, and believe, at least a little, in my own potential. I began to realize that teaching, for all that I loved of it, was the safe version of my dreams.

Yet life brought me to a place where everything I thought I knew was challenged. I faced the darkness of chronic depression and debilitating panic attacks, along with losses that left me questioning the foundation of everything I’d believed. Divorce, grief, and a series of painful realizations about life left me with a destabilizing sense that things were not as I once thought. In those moments, I had a choice: to let the confusion and heartache keep me bound or to use it as a catalyst for a courageous life.
I chose courage. No more waiting for permission, no more putting my own needs last, no more playing it safe. That transformation—and the relentless journey it inspired—became the foundation of The Becoming Courageous Experience, my vision for empowering others to live with courage, no matter the storms they’ve faced. Today, I’m committed to helping others rise from their own pain, discover their voice, and step fully into the powerful lives they were meant to lead.

If you’re ready to step beyond fear and into a courageous future, let’s connect—there’s a whole new version of you waiting to live.
